The first day, November 8, 2016, of this workshop will provide an overview of stormwater treatment for new development and significant redevelopment with an emphasis on Low Impact Development (LID). Additionally,  *  LID principals, considerations and constraints will be discussed.  * State and local regulations will be presented.  * What tools are available for guidance will be reviewed.  * Case studies of LID projects - within street right of ways, pervious pavers, LID pitfalls, rain gardens, and 

The second day, November 9,2016, the workshop will get into the details of how to select a LID feature based upon anticipated pollutants, land use, soil types.  The use of the Truckee Meadows Standard Guidance Worksheets will also be demonstrated.  

This day and a half workshop will qualify for 11 professional development hours for professional engineers.
