Event Information

Time: 9am

The West Penn Trail Triathlon is a chip timed, paddle, bike, run event on the Conemaugh River and the West Penn Trail. The race can be done solo or as a 2 or 3 person team. The 7 mile paddle leg can be done in any non motorized watercraft from Conemaugh Dam to Saltsburg. The bike leg is 14 miles on the trail from Saltsburg to Conemaugh Dam and back. The run leg is 3.1 miles out and back on the Kiski section of the West Penn Trail. The team configuration can use any combination of solo or tandem conveyances but the timing chip must be transferred within the transition area between segments. Race details will be sent out via email after registration.
