15th Annual Aledo AdvoCats VIRTUAL Run, Walk or Crawl

15TH ANNUAL ALEDO CHILDREN'S ADVOCATS RUN, WALK OR CRAWL

Join us for the Aledo Children's AdvoCats 15th Annual Run, Walk or Crawl 1K and 5K!!  We will be having a VIRTUAL GLOW RUN!!  What is a Virtual Race?  Due to current restrictions with large gatherings, participants complete the event remotely at their own time and place.  You can run, walk or crawl on the road, treadmill, or the trail while practicing social distancing and other safety measures.  Virtual races allow people from all over to participate!  Since 2002 Aledo Children's AdvoCats has donated more than $900,000 to the community.

If you already signed up for the race that was scheduled for March 28th, your registration will automatically convert to the virtual race.  You're all set!

• T-shirts and race bags will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 15th at Brookeshires (gas pump side) from 10-2pm and 4-6pm.

• You must register by Sunday, May 3rd to receive a t-shirt.  

• Glow items, included with every registration, will be available for those that register through May 14th.   The Glow Mohawk , which you must register for at an additional cost, is available through May 14th or while supplies last.  

• Registration will remain open until May 24th to participate in the run.

NOTE:

• Race bag pick up will follow social distancing rules.  Simply drive up, roll down your window and tell us your name, pop your trunk and we will load you up and off you go.  Simple, fast and safe.

• There will still be a school competition between the schools so be sure and select your school affiliation during registration.  The school with the most registrants will win $500 for their PE departments.

• All fees are non-refundable.

Aledo Children’s AdvoCats is a non-profit organization of women committed to raising charitable funds to help fulfill and aid unmet needs of children and their families in the communities of Aledo ISD.  Established in 2002, the AdvoCats organization has donated nearly $900,000 to our community. One-hundred percent of monies raised through fundraising are used towards charitable efforts, such as medical expenses, clothing, living expenses, field trips, senior expenses, dental care, school supplies, and counseling.
