In partnership with St. Joseph Today and the 16th Annual Magical Ice Fest in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan, Sunset Coast Striders is proud to bring to you the 7th annual Ice Fest 5k Chocolate Walk/Run! 100% of proceeds will benefit Cycle-Re-Cycle.

Cycle-Re-Cycle is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Cycle-Re-Cycle strives to improve the lives of SW Michigan residents. hey do this through programs, advocacy, and partnerships that change the way people think about cycling and explore how a bicycle can be a vehicle for positive social change. One such program in which they improve the lives of SW Michigan residents is through their initiative to provide bicycles to reformed inmates as a means of reliable employment transportation.

Take advantage of our early bird pricing unBIB PICK-UP & SAME DAY REGISTRATION: Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 7:30am - 8:45am. Same day registration is $35.00. $30.00 for 14 & under or 65 & older. Cash or Check only please. LOCATION: 301 State St. St Joseph, MI 49085. The St Joseph Today building.

RACE START: 9am. The course will be well marked and we will provide plenty of course marshals (& expect an Oompa Loompa or two) to guide you right along. This is a winter run...Remember winter/road safety! It may be slippery and you might want to bring YakTrax or StabilIcers if you have them. Please be careful out there!

POST RACE PARTY: 9:20 - 11:00am Head to the big tent next to the St. Joseph Today building immediately following the race for LOTS of chocolaty yumminess!! Plus music, fellowship, and awards/giveaways!

RACE RESULTS & AWARDS: This is a chip timed event. Race results will be posted on race day. Spectacular trophies go to the overall male and female finishers. Medals to the top three 5k run male and female age group finishers. Top walker divisions will also be awarded. Age groups follow the USATF standard of 5 year intervals. except for walkers which are 10 year intervals. Award presentations will promptly start at 10:00am.

*** NEW for 2020!!*** You are amazing (or maybe a little crazy) for registering for a winter race. You deserve a medal!! Yes, you read that right!! For 2020, anyone who registers, runs (or walks) & crosses that coveted finish line will receive a finishers medal!!

Price increase on 1/01/2020. Late registration price increase will occur on 1/23/2020. Online Registration ends at midnight on 1/30/2020
