The 9th Annual Santa Cruz Downwind Ryders Cup is a world-class paddleboard event hosted by the non-profit Ghostryders Watermans Club

Online Registration = $70    (Online registration will close 9:00pm May 18th)

Race Day Beach Registration = $100

Race start is 1:30 pm on May 19th, 2018 at Davenport Landing Beach. Exit Davenport Landing Road two miles north from the town of Davenport.

Race registration and Timing Chip pickup will be held from Noon to 1:15 on the beach at Davenport Landing.  You must check in for the event and pick up a timing chip to receive a time in the event.

First finishers are expected on the South side of the Santa Cruz Municipal Pier at 3:00 pm in front of the Ideal Bar and Grill.

T-shirts will be distributed at the finish.

RACE DAY BEACH REGISTRATION - You will pay $100 to register on the beach day of race.

AFTER PARTY - After party at Ideal Bar & Grill at the base of the Santa Cruz Wharf directly behind the race finish line.  Awards will be handed out at after party.

PARKING - Parking is limited at Davenport Landing, carpool if possible.

NO SHUTTLE SERVICE - Race organizers will not be providing shuttle service. Racers are repsponsible for their own transportation and belongings.

WATER TEMP - It's cold. Wetsuit is recommended.

About the GhostRyder Watermans Club:
The GhostRyder Watermans Club is a California non-profit, public benefit corporation. The clubs focus is benefiting the Santa Cruz Junior Lifeguard program. The GhostRyder Watermen Club does not pay any salary to its board of directors or any other staff. A volunteer staff/group conducts all activities. Events are funded by entry fees received and corporate sponsors.
