The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association (PCHA) of Michigan provides hope and support to families dealing with congenital heart defects and operates solely on donations. The services of PCHA of Michigan include:
- Providing education and support to inpatient families through our care bag distribution programs
- Providing education and support to parents expecting a baby with a heart defect through our Prenatal Information Pack program
- Providing peer-to-peer support through group meetings, group activities and online networking for people affected by heart defects - from prenatal diagnosis to adulthood, as well as families that have experienced loss due to heart defects
- Providing educational meetings to give families access to information and health resources useful for managing life with heart defects
- Raising awareness about heart defects - the most common birth defect in the U.S. - so that the public understands the reach and effects of heart defects
- Advocating for change to improve the lives of those living with heart defects and in hopes of preventing heart defects in the future
Please join us in providing a caring support network to help families move from fear and heartbreak to healing and hope!
