SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

We cordially invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the second annual Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation’s (FWSRF) 5K Fun Run. This event will raise money to provide scholarships to local high school seniors and to support the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Language and Literacy Camp at TCU (Camp Leaps). The event will be held on Saturday, November 13, at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with the 1 mile Fun Run and the 5K Fun Run will start at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given to top qualifiers of the 5K. There are various levels of sponsorship for the FWSRF Fun Run. Size and placement of logos on t-shirts and web site are based on sponsorship level.

WHO WE ARE

The Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity that has furthered the philanthropic goals of Fort Worth Scottish Rite Masons since 1951. The Foundation’s points of emphasis are:

  • The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The Hospital was founded in 1921 and has become a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, such as, clubfoot, hand disorder, hip disorders and limb length differences, as well as certain related neurological and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. The Hospital strives to improve the care of children worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs. The Hospital ha treated more than 235,000 children since its inception and provides more than 40,000 clinic visits each year. These services are provided regardless of the family’s ability to pay. To date the Foundation has donated more than $400,000 to the Hospital (tsrhc.org).
  • Scholarships to High School Seniors in the Valley’s thirty-three counties. Each year the Foundation awards fifty $1,500 scholarships. To date the Foundation has awarded over $1,700,000 in scholarships.
  • Aid to Children with Communication Disorders. The Fort Worth Scottish Rite is the sponsor of the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Language and Literacy Camp at TCU (Camp Leaps). This year the Foundation donated $30,000.
  • Support of area teachers attending the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital’s teacher’s dyslexia certification program.
  • Recognition of area JROTC and ROTC programs.
