As the walking population continues to get vaccinated, more and more people want to get out and get active. We want to be able to meet the needs of all by offering a healthy fit community that can assist with returning to an active lifestyle safely.
For Walkers, we have coaches who train from a 14 plus pace to a 20 pace. We have a pace group just for you.

Austin Fit Summer Training Program goal race is the San Antonio Rock n Roll Marathon/Half

For Walkers, we have coaches who train from a 14 plus pace to a 20 pace. We have a pace group just for you.
Austin Fit Summer 2022 Jump Start/10K Program

The Jump Start/10K program is perfect for new runners, runners who have stopped training due to injury or for runners who want to train for a 10K. The "Spring" Jump Start/10K program is a slow paced, low-interval (run/walk) training that helps with that "jumpstart" you may need to get back into running.
This group is also a good place for anyone who needs a rest week or easier comeback after being out sick before rejoining the half training group.

The Jump Start/10K program is perfect for new runners, runners who have stopped training due to injury or for runners who want to train for a 10K. Advanced Training Program (ATP). ATP members will receive one weekday training geared to improve speed and endurance. ATP also includes strength and core exercises geared to strengthen weak muscles, improve balance and stability, and decrease injury prevention. The ATP trainings will be central, with both a morning training and an evening training that you may choose from. The ATP program will be lead by a USA FIT Certifed Coach also a certified Road Runners Club of America coach (RRCA Level 1). Specific ATP details will be communicated immediately upon registration of ATP.

Austin Fit SUMMER BARIATRIC WALK program starts June 11 and ends November 26.
PURPOSE FOR THE BARIATRIC WALK PROGRAM
To meet the needs of the bariatric community by transitioning from their previous lifestyle into a new lifestyle that ensures activity is a normal part of their everyday life routine. Eventually, the goal for the transition group is to graduate from this group and migrate into the other available Austin Fit groups whether it be our walking or running groups.
Target Group
There are four types of individuals we are targeting for this program: Pre-Surgery, Non-Surgery, Post-Surgery, and Family/Friends.

ATP is an additional and advanced training for Austin Fit SUMMER members. This registration option is for those who wish to join ATP and did not register for it when registering for the initial 2022 Summer Training Program.

The ATP trainings will be central, with both a morning training and an evening training that you may choose from. Austin Fit SUMMER Training Program is back with FULL and HALF Marathon, and 10K Training led by USAFIT Certified Coaches. Austin Fit is all about helping others make positive and life altering changes. So, get ready for an uplifting, motivational, and TOTAL fitness experience. We truly cater to both newbies and experienced runners and walkers in our training program.
Runners, we have coaches who train from 8:00 pace to a 13 pace.
Walk Fit. We have coaches who train from a 14 pace to a 20 plus pace.
Bariatric Walk Group. Your bariatric coach/coordinator will help meet the needs of the bariatric community by transitioning from your previous lifestyle into a new lifestyle that ensures activity is a normal part of your everyday life routine.
