FAST Swim and Triathlon Club lost a member, Karen Perzyk, in 2018 to Esophagus Cancer
The club is putting together a cancer fund raising event in her honor. Last year we raised $800 in her name. We wish to achieve $1,000 this year. Proceeds will be given to American Cancer Society.
What is the event? It is a bike spinning event led by a spin instructor or a virtual Zoom/Zwift ride lead club member hosting the Zoom/Zwift portion using your own bike trainer.
When? Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 – 1 pm to 2 pm
Where for the live spin portion? Group Spin in Studio B at Y at Farmington Family YMCA, 28100 Farmington Road, Farmington Hills, MI. Locker room availability? Bring a towel and your own water bottle. Shoe options include either SPD shoes or gym shoes with provided toe clips
Where for the live Zoom/Zwift portion? Join us via Zoom call riding your own trainer; optional Zwift app, for those that use Zwift. This means you can participate from around the world.
Donation? $10 to ride, but additional donations accepted.
Who? Anyone that wants to honor her legacy and help others which are going to go through the same situation.
