Join Space Coast Runners for our Spring Training Camp which will run from January 25 - May 7, 2022. This comprehensive 15-week training program is geared towards all running levels, including a run/walk program. The camp goal race is the Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile* on April 10, 2022 followed by 4 weeks of speed the Run for the Gecko 5K on May 7, 2022. Participants do not need to be running either race to participate as we'll have runners with different goals ranging from 2 mile to the full marathon! Coaching will be conducted by Kaitlin Donner, along with designated pace leaders.
Training rotates location on Tuesday evenings. Wednesday day early morning training is also available - it's a little different, as Coach is doing the workout too. Sunday long runs will also rotate between Oars & Paddles and Cocoa Village.
Athletes will receive:
BONUS! Add a 1-hour group strength session each week at New Wave PT & Sports Rehab for $150. These workout sessions address common strength and mobility imbalances in distance runners.
This camp is open to both Space Coast Runners members and non-members. Register early to receive the best pricing. Rates increase on January 3, 2022.
*Registration for the Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile or Run for the Gecko 5K is not included with camp registration.
