Root River Parkway. The entrance to Root River Parkway is approximately 1 mile north of Rawson Ave and 1 mile south of Grange Ave. Enter the Root River Parkway on 92nd Street and College Avenue in Greendale and drive through the Parkway to Picnic Area #1 east of 92nd Street
It puts all runners, regardless of speed on a level playing field. 25 participants in each run who predict closest to their predicted finish time will receive a full-sized frozen turkey. Limit one turkey per family. Think about the fun story you’ll have at Thanksgiving dinner as you carve that fabulous bird.
Families welcome! Walkers welcome on the 2 mile run!
Hot cider, hot chocolate, coffee, water, soda and snacks.

No watches or pacesetters allowed. No splits will be given. No mile markers provided.
We will be accepeting non-perishable food for Hunger Task Force, supporting local food pantries. Help those who are struggling as we head into this Holiday Season.
Register for the Turkey Trot and Strider Pettit Races (Strider PR) for only $30. The Strider PR is on Sunday, December 8th at the Pettit Center. The 10 mile starts at 7:30am and the 10k estimated start 9:30 am. All preregistered participants in the Strider PR will receive swag to be determined. The Strider PR collects toys for local Milwaukee children through the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Runners are requested to bring one unwrapped new toy.
