Danielle Aran, RD will be hosting a Nutrition Workshop at 11am at New Wave Physical Therapy on Sunday, Nov, 3. This workshop is open to everyone - no cost to SCR Fall Training Camp and Run Like A Girl Training Camp participants - and $5 for those not attending a current SCR camp. Limited space available. She will be focusing on half marathon training nutrition and race day nutrition for longer events. Danielle will answer any questions you have and a lot of her information is relevant to all runners.
Danielle Aran is a Registered Dietitian and avid runner from West Melbourne, FL. She has been an athlete for most of her life, focusing mainly on running since she was a freshman in high school. She then went on to run competitively for The College of New Jersey, where she focused on cross country, the 5K, and 3K. Throughout her college running career, she began to feel how the ebbs and flows of nutrition impact performance, sparking her interest in dietetics, and guiding her to pursue a career in dietetics. She entered Drexel University in 2014 where she studied Human Nutrition, and then completed her dietetic internship through Oregon State University before passing her RD exam in 2018.
Danielle is super passionate about empowering athletes and active individuals to nourish and fuel their bodies for optimal athletic performance, while also helping them live a healthy, but full life.
