Experience the Power of Group Training

  • Have you ever wanted to start running or do you consider yourself a "running rookie"?
  • Have you ever thought about doing a 5K but didn't know where to start?
  • Did you run in the past but haven't in years?
  • Maybe you have started walking and want to progress to running an entire 5K without stopping.
  • This is the program for you and a great way to start 2023.

We know how hard it is to get started and stay motivated. This Space Coast Runners training camp is designed specifically for beginners, runners getting back into shape and for walkers wanting to progress to a run/walk. You'll be coached by Chris Daniele, a RRCA certified running coach and former collegiate runner at Florida Institute of Technology alongside Coach Kaitlin Donner of New Wave Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Coach Chris will work with you to design an individualized program to get you going and moving forward. The goal 5K race for camp is the Downtown Melbourne 5K* on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Camp is open to all ages, shapes, sizes and running abilities. Weekly training workouts take place in the Melbourne & Viera areas with the Sunday weekend workout taking place in Indian Harbour Beach. You do not have to be a member of Space Coast Runners to register. It's cheaper if you do (and you get all the SCR member perks).
