Lakefront Discovery Run 2022

The Lakefront Discovery Run is back! The run features two distances: a 15k and a 5k. Each distance can be run, walked, skipped or hopped. There will be age-group awards as well as top-secret awards for overall winners. More importantly, there will be awards for the best costumes as voted by the event volunteers. We will also have a Kiddo Kostume Run that will start right before the 15k. This will be a short run for our little runners to showcase their fast feet...and get a little candy!

 There will be your traditional aid stations on each course, but this is Halloween Weekend! What would Halloween be without...CANDY! No Gu’s or chews on this course. We’ve got candy. Fuel your run and satisfy your sweet tooth while you enjoy one of the last events of the season.

Each runner AND volunteer will receive an event t-shirt, traditional post-race snacks, enough candy to make a dentist cringe, and the best part? Oh, we’ve got a rocking post-race party planned with free beer and food! Come out and celebrate a successful season of Badgerland Strider running.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26th at MIDNIGHT.

Race day registration is available at packet pick up. $35 for 5K, $50 for 15K. Cash (exact change only) or check made out to Badgerland Striders.

Packet Pick-up Details

Packet pick up will take place in Veteran's Park on Friday night from 4-7pm. Look for the large tent! Packet pickup is also available on race morning in the same large, HEATED tent. Packet Pick on Saturday starts at 7:30AM. Race Day Registration ends at 8:45AM on Saturday.
