The DRC Spring 2018 “Mile 0” Program is a 11-week program designed to help new or newly returning runners learn to train and complete a 5k race in a fun, social, non-competitive atmosphere. We want to educate and encourage new runners to train effectively and adopt a more active lifestyle. The “Mile 0” program begins with walking, gradually mixes in running, and then builds up to runs of 3 miles or more. The group runs will help participants stay accountable and motivated by others going through a similar experience. This program will begin on January 20, 2018 and end on April 3, 2018. All groups will meet at the DRC clubhouse on Saturdays at 7:15 AM and Tuesdays at 7:15 PM. The cost for this program will start at $50.00.
