Course
The 26.2 mile marathon course begins at the football field at the bottom of the peninsula, goes through Placencia Village, Seine Bight Village, and Maya Beach, with multiple views of the Caribbean Sea along the way. The course then loops back a few miles south of Riversdale.
The 13.1 mile half marathon course begins at the marathon turnaround and both races finish in Placencia Village.
There will be water stations at about every mile. Click here for location of water stations. The course is completely flat.

Saturday, December 9, 2017 @ Turtle Inn
- 3 pm – 5 pm: Registration and Packet pick up
- 6 pm: Pasta dinner ($15 BZ for Belizeans and $15 US for non Belizeans – can be paid for at packet pickup)
Sunday, December 10, 2017 @ Placencia Village
- 5:30 am: Marathon start
- 5:30 am: Half-marathon start (13.1 miles north of marathon start)
- 9:30 am: 2 mile fun run
- 11:30 am: Awards
- Noon: Post-race party
- 1 pm – midnight: Marathon Beach Party at Tipsy Tuna
