Announcements:

• Rent a smart trainer: FAST as some have been returned from last year when we rented all of them out.  Those that rented learned the benefit and picked up their own smart trainer.  Why? Quit the spinning routine and build muscle that burns calories all day instead of burning them just during the cardio workout. Even if you use just a spinner on Zwift this is soooooo much better for your development.  You will also be faster on the bike this coming spring. Reply to this email for more info.

 

• Next Social: Axe throwing social, Saturday January 22 at 7 pm Axe Ventura in Ann Arbor.  $35 per person. Please contact Sandy.eyl@gmail.com to pay for your party by Wednesday Jan 19th, because we have to reserve in advance. No dinner out this time, but Axe Ventura says they have the cheapest drinks in Ann Arbor! .

 

• Weight Training On Demand: Weight Training: Added to our member only section; in case you missed the last one we brought you back a prior session previously recorded.

 

• How to Find our Calendar: Note that some members didn't realize that the word "calendar" below this announcement is a hot link to our club calendar.  Please remember that and use it.  This is the way we will tell you what is going on.  Many events will also have more information revealed when opening the event deails including Zoom meeting links, RSVP, and the ability to add it to your personal calendar for a reminder (use the little bell icon to save to your calendar).
