Subject line: Recruiting current or former female NCAA distance runners for study

Dear Potential Participant,

Researchers at the University of Michigan School of Public Health are looking for current or former female NCAA distance runners to participation in a research study.

This study is being conducted to better understand NCAA female distance runners’ experiences in dealing with physical and/or psychological health conditions during or following their collegiate running careers.

If you take part in this study, you would be asked to participate in one in-person interview between the months of June and December 2018. Subjects must be at least 18 years old to participate.

To determine your eligibility, please open and complete the Qualtrics link included below. Your answers to the questionnaires (LEAF-Q and FAST) will provide information about your risk of the Female Athlete Triad (TRIAD) and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S). Women not at risk will not be eligible for the study. You will be notified of your eligibility, via email, within one week of completing the questionnaire.
