• Georgia Jewel 50-miler in Dalton, GA on 9/18/21: Congratulations to Laura Walker who ran the Georgia Jewel 50-miler. It was Laura's first 50-mile race on challenging terrain with over 8000 feet of elevation gain and rain for much of the day. Her goal was to finish before sunset and see her family at the finish line. Laura beat it her goal by over an hour, finishing in 12:20:37, 14th overall.
• Best Damn Race Orlando 10K on 9/25/21: Søren Walker, age 8, ran his first 10K with his mom, Laura at Best Damn Race Orlando. He was 1st AG with a time of 1:14:28. Great to see other SCR members there. Other SCR 10K finishers were John Scruggs (47:38 - 3rd AG), Jim Westermeyer (49:31 - 3rd AG), Laura Walker (1:14:28), Janet Carman (1:14:54), Kimberly Budnick (1:15:13), Alejandra Scruggs (1:15:55), Ricky Varn (1:17:43), Teresa Ragan (1:38:46)
• Best Damn Race Orlando Half Marathon on 9/25/21: Nancy Foresteire won a 3rd AG in 2:33:47. Steven Hebert finished in 3:09:27.
• Best Damn Race Orlando 5K on 9/25/21: Janet Carman ran the 5K after the 10K race in 39:09.
• Eagle Pride 5K & 1 Mile (Men) on 9/25/21: Lee Kolias, 27, WON the Ascencion Eagle Pride 1 Mile in 5:25 and the 5K in 19:45 as well as the Soaring Eagle Challenge which represented a combined time of the 1M and 5K. Matt Mahoney, 66, placed 3rd in the 1M in 7:06 and secured 3rd in the Challenge with his 24:08 5K time. 
• Eagle Pride 5K & 1 Mile (Women) on 9/25/21: Shannon O'Boyle, 49, WON the overall women's title in the Soaring Eagle Challenge. Her times were 8:20 and 29:12.
•  I Love My Island 5K (Men) on 9/25/21: James Chapman, 50, WON the race in Merritt Island in 17:42. 
•  I Love My Island 5K (Women) on 9/25/21: Kristen Hughes, 37, WON for the ladies in 24:03.  
• Cooper River Bridge 10K Run in Charleston, SC on 9/25/21: Taking on the 44th running of this historic 10K, Robin Moran (1:04:25 - 4th AG) and Rene Morris (1:05:22 - 18th AG) finished with excellent times.
