Join Space Coast Runners for our upcoming Run Like A Girl Summer Training Camp which will run from April 30, 2025 - July 4, 2025. The SCR Run Like a Girl 10-Week Training Camp is designed for women, by women coaches and is structured to accommodate all ages and all paces. So if you're a beginner, no problem! Come meet other female runners and run/walkers. The Women Specific Training Camp with Coach Theresa will be delivered in-person and through the Final Surge app. The goal race will be the Firecracker 5K on July 4 2025. However, campers do not have to be running the race to participate. We'll have runners and walkers with different goal distances and races.
CAMP SCHEDULE
✔️ March 25: Camp Registration opens
✔️ April 27: Coaches Meet & Greet at Viera High School at 8AM
✔️ April 30: Training begins: In-person, midweek workouts begin in the Viera area at 6PM
✔️ May 4: In-person Sunday workouts begin at 6AM rotating locations around Brevard Co.
✔️ July 4: RACE DAY!

Theresa Miller is a spirited and dynamic running coach with an infectious passion for helping women harness the power of fitness to feel strong, empowered, and confident. An avid triathlete, Ironman competitor and runner herself, Theresa knows firsthand the joy and freedom that come from hitting the pavement and pushing your limits.

Kaitlin Donner is a Satellite Beach native who currently owns New Wave Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation in Melbourne. Kaitlin graduated from Satellite High School, where she was a 4-time varsity letter recipient in cross-country, swimming and track. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Florida on a cross country and track scholarship and earned multiple SEC Championship team titles in cross country and indoor/outdoor track. After graduating with a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology, she stayed at UF for PT school, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Just prior to starting PT school, Kaitlin started racing triathlons and quickly earned her Elite license which allowed her to race professionally around the world and eventually qualifying for the US National Team for several years as well as competing in 2 Olympic Trials events. In 2018, she decided to step away from elite racing to move back to Satellite Beach full time to open an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic to serve the athletes and active population of Brevard County, and start a family with her husband Ed. They now have two sons, Chris and Mikey. In 2024, she competed in the US Marathon Olympic Trials and broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest female pushing a stroller.
