The Northeast Running Club is now accepting nominations for our 2022 club scholarship awards. During the past twenty-four years, NERC has awarded over $100,000 to 158 student-athletes. Despite the challenges of the past year due to canceled races and fundraising opportunities, our club is committed to supporting young runners and has allocated $2000 for scholarships to area athletes. If you know any high school seniors from Northeast Ohio who have participated in cross-country and/or track teams and might be interested, please pass along the application to them.
Seniors nominated should meet the following criteria:
· Achievement of “B” average or higher
· Demonstration of leadership qualities
· Involvement in school activities and/or community service
· Participation in cross-country or a running event in track
· College Acceptance

A look ahead...
As of now, we are making plans to host our traditional NERC XC series in August. Please keep in mind that money generated from this event directly supports the scholarship fund.
