Introduction

February is the perfect month to start thinking about what local and regional events that you're going to complete in 2024. With that in mind, we have our Race Directors Social on Monday Feb 19th at Social Beer Garden HTX.  You receive a free raffle ticket when you sign in.  If you want to purchase extra raffle tickets, they are 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.   Bring a friend so they can hear about some great events and you'll gain an additional raffle ticket for the Christmas Party grand prize.  You must be a member to participate in the race raffle, but everyone is invited to attend.  So far we have 36 different events with 57 chances to win.

The weather is getting warmer and soon it will be time for open water swimming.  We will have Twin Lake swim vouchers for you to purchase for a discounted price of $5.  The max number of vouchers you can buy are 10 for individual membership or 20 for a family membership. 

On Sunday Feb. 25, we will hold a transition clinic at the Rice Stadium Parking lot.  Bring your bike and running shoes for some practice. Then on March 9  we will have a group bike ride.  We'll meet at 7:30am in the Lifetime Parking lot in Katy for a 40ish mile ride.

If you are not racing at either IMTX 70.3 or IMTX in April, please consider joining us as a volunteer. It's a lot of fun and a great way to learn more about the events.  If you are racing IMTX then join USA Triathlon LII and IRONMAN U certified coach John Mayfield Saturday, Feb 10th at 2 pm at Social Beer Garden HTX for free to learn everything you need to know to have a great race!  See upcoming races and events below to register.
