Introduction
March is in the books, and everyone that competed or volunteered at IMTX 70.3 in Galveston is recovering!
A huge thanks to all our wonderful volunteers in Galveston this past weekend. John Tuttle makes this happen for our team and helps us put on the best Aide Station in Galveston! We have Ironman Texas coming up, and "Gear Bags" is a great way spot to encourage and help our athletes! Last year was my first time to volunteer at gear bags, and I can't wait to do it again. I hope you join us out there!
Congratulations to all our members that raced at IMTX 70.3 Galveston Sunday! Dominik Rudecki, Michael Lewis, Maria Lea de Jesus, Heidi Riggs, Patricia Martin, Peter Brohn, Jose Cesar-Dorantes, Carol Woolridge, Gina Sessums and Derek Helsby congratulations on your finishes and thank you for racing with HRTC!
If you are not racing at IMTX this month, please consider joining us as a volunteer. It's a lot of fun and a great way to learn more about the events (See details below). If you are racing, make sure you update your club affiliation with Ironman to Houston Racing Triathlon Club!

We will be grilling burgers and hotdogs.

The Kerrville Triathlon offers something for all our members, from a Rookie and Sprint, to Olympic and Half Distance Triathlons and Aquabikes all over one weekend.
We are raffling off an entry to the Kerrville Triathlon Festival at the May Social on May 15th.
How to get raffle tickets!
1 ticket for HRTC members who attend the May social (Tentatively 5/4 at Fleet Feet)
1 ticket for HRTC members who race as HRTC or volunteer with HRTC at Galveston (4/2)
1 ticket for HRTC members who race as HRTC or volunteer with HRTC at IMTX (4/22)
1 bonus ticket if you participate in both Galveston and TX.
**possibility of earning 4 entries in the drawing
**Volunteers and Racers do not need to be present at May Social to win
**Racers and Volunteers need to email president@houstonracing.com to enter
