On behalf of Space Coast Runners and Power of Pizza Charities, we are excited to host this April's 36th Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile. The physical race is planned for April 10th in Viera but we will also have a virtual race option due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The 15K & 2 Mile races are part of the SCR Runner of the Year Series where members score points. You must race in person to receive ROY points. You can run virtually to receive Ran All Races participation credit.

Race the ORIGINAL and ONLY 15K in Brevard County! The Space Coast Classic 15K is 9.3 miles of fun racing brought to you by Space Coast Runners and Power of Pizza Charities. It makes a great training run for Spring or Summer half marathons and marathons. Over the years the 15K has run in Melbourne Beach, Indian Harbour Beach and Melbourne with great success and now in south Viera.
If you're not up to the full 15K, join us for the classic 2 Mile. The 2022 race marks the 36th running of the Space Coast Classic. This year every finisher will receive the exclusive Space Coast Classic medal that highlights one of Florida's most infamous wildlife members. You're going to love it.
We're the 6th and final ROY points race in the Space Coast Runners "Runner of the Year" Series and the 10th race in the overall ROY Series. SCR Members 15 years and older earn points in the 15K. 14 years or younger score points in the 2 Mile. 75 years or older may choose to run the 15K or the 2 Mile distance to score ROY series points. Race proceeds benefit (coming soon). Timing by Running Zone. Event management by Power of Pizza Charities.

TRANSGENDER/TRANSSEXUAL ATHLETE INCLUSION & RULES OF COMPETITION*
A runner should enter the Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile event under the same sex that they declare publicly for all other purposes, with one exception. A male-to-female transgender runner may not enter as a female unless that runner is currently taking hormone treatments that are related to gender transition and has been undergoing treatment continuously for one year.
