Lots of Stuff (with details further down) (CCC) Many of our weekly rides are ending at the last week in October. But there are still lots of great weekend rides to attend and some weeknight rides that ride in the dark with lights and a slower pace. Watch your emails and the calendar for details. (CCC) Century of the Month on Sunday, October 28. (details below) (CCC) The 2018 Great Pumpkin Roll Ride donated all the leftover food to a local food pantry and we also donated all the leftover rest stop supplies to the upcoming ADA Tour ride that is this weekend. We also made a donation to 4-H of Franklin. Thank you to everyone for a great year. (CCC) Thank you to the 60+ volunteers who helped make the Great Pumpkin Roll Ride a success on Saturday, September 29!   (CCC) SAVE THE DATE!  CCC Annual Banquet, Social Gathering, and Business Meeting on January 20th at Rheingeist Brewery.  Tickets will be available for      purchase by late October.  (CCC) VIP points season for 2018 for volunteers and ride leader ends on October 31.  Make sure you have sent all your rides led and volunteer duties to your cluster leader by Nov 5. The CCC Annual Banquet and Business Meeting When: Sunday, January 20th from 5 to 9 pm Where: Rheingeist Brewery in the Clubhouse Ballroom Address: 1910 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 Event will feature catered dinner, the CCC business meeting and member voting, presentations from various organizations on cycling, presentations on current and future club initiatives, vendor tables and activities.  This will be a wonderful event and not to be missed!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Century of the Month When: Sunday 10/28, departing 8:00 AM from Fifty West in Terrace Park/Mariemont. Ride Leader: Chan Stevens Description: For what is likely to be the final ride for the season we're heading out to the country for some fall scenery. The 102 mile route covers 2600 feet of "climbing" though other than getting out of Loveland there's nothing more strenuous than small rollers. We'll be rolling by Stonelick State park, Grant Lake, East Fork Lake, and crossing the McCafferty Road covered bridge. Even though it's mostly wide open rural roads, there will be multiple refueling opportunities as needed--miles 32 or 41, then Williamsburg around mile 79 or Batavia at mile 85. GPS route link : https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28731955 This is a self-supported ride, though routes will generally include opportunities to at least water up every 30-40 miles.
