Chelsey’s 5K Walk/Run for Kids- All proceeds from this event will benefit The Snowdrop Foundation (www.snowdropfoundation.org) which benefits Texas Children’s Hospital Cancer Center. Any donations valued at $100 or more will have their names on the back of the shirts. For those of you that do not know, Chelsey was a patient at TCH for many months before she was allowed to return home to spend her last days. She lost her fight with cancer in December 2006. Chelsey would have walked with the class of ’08 had she not lost that battle. We want to walk for Chelsey since this walk for kids was one of her wishes. We appreciate any support you can lend, whether it be a cash donation (checks can be made to Snowdrop Foundation), an in-kind donation, or volunteering for the day of the event. If you need a receipt for your donation, please let whomever picks it up know so we can send it out right away. In advance, thanks for you support of this exciting event. Sign up early.
