The “Walk for Hope” is an effort to raise our communities’ education and awareness of breast cancer by introducing risk factors, promoting early detection which results in better outcomes and treatments and advocating the need for a reliable and permanent cure.
On Saturday, November 8, 2014, The Yolanda E. Williams Foundation Breast Cancer Awareness “Walk for Hope” will be held in memory of Yolanda E. Williams and others who have lost their battle or who are presently battling against this disease. The YEW Foundation, a 501(3) (c) organization, is asking you to team with us in the race to find a cure for Triple Negative D.C.I.S. (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) breast cancer. Your contribution allows the YEW Foundation to continue to make an annual donation to the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Cancer Center at The Baylor College of Medicine.
The “Walk for Hope” is more than just a walk; it is a movement to end breast cancer. Teams are forming now. Invite your family, friends, businesses and organizations to join us as we walk to save lives and to end breast cancer!
