• Memorial Day: 2 Miles
  • Monday, May 27 – 9:00am – 11:00am
• 4^th of July”ish” : 3 Miles
  • Saturday, June 29 – 9:00am – 11:00am
• Labor Day Lap-a-Thon
  • Monday, September 2 – 9:00am – 11:00am

 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Participants must be at least 12 years of age

Registration open now through Race Day

$20 Advance Registration / $25 Race Day Registration

$50 if register for all three events on or before June 19

 

SOUVENIR

Complete all three swim events and receive a 7-Mile Summer Swim Series Finisher Medal!

Participants will also receive a souvenir unique to each event

• Memorial Day Event: Unique Race Souvenir not guaranteed if register after May 13
• 4^th of July”ish” Event: Unique Race Souvenir not guaranteed if register after June 19
• Labor Day Lap-a-Thon: Unique Race Souvenir not guaranteed if register after August 19

 

PACKET PICK-UP

All packet pick-ups will be located at the Lake Jackson Recreation Center

• Memorial Day Event: Sunday, May 26, 1pm – 6pm / Race Day, 8am
• 4^th of July”ish” Event: Friday, June 28, 5:45am – 9pm / Race Day, 8am
• Labor Day Lap-a-Thon: Sunday, September 1, 1pm – 6pm / Race Day, 8am

 

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

8:00 - 8:30am                  Registration at the Lake Jackson Rec Center

9:00am                             Race start time (depending on # of registrants, this race could begin in waves,
                                          and up to 4 people will be assigned to a lane)

11:00am                          THE RACE WILL CLOSE

 

Rules / Instruction Information

SWIMMERS MUST BE 12 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE

We advise against the use of headphones at this event.  Should you choose to use them, you do so at your own risk.  Keep the volume at a reasonable level so that you can hear warning, emergency, and instructional signals from lifeguards, other personnel, and other swimmers near you in the pool.  

Lifeguards and other personnel have final say on all rules and may make adjustments to ensure the safety of all participants.

 

Course Cautions

This event takes place in a pool ranging from 4 feet deep to 9 feet deep, knowledge of swimming is a must, lifejackets and other flotation devices are not permitted.

Each event could be a test of one’s physical and mental limits and is a potentially hazardous activity.
